MichaelCONNOLLYoriginally from Ballygar, County Galway loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and godfather passed away peacefully on Friday 29th November 2019, aged 72 years. Rest in peace. Reposing at Kanes Funeral Directors, Burnage Lane, Manchester, on Thursday evening 12th December. Removal on Friday morning to St Bernard's Church, Burnage Lane arriving for mass of the Resurrection at 10.30am. Burial afterwards in Southern Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Michael was a customer when I was a landlady in the Mauldeth pub. I have very fond memories of him.
He was a regular customer for many years he would come in and have a pint of Guinness however now and again he would drink vodka and lemonade. His beautiful wife would often go to the pub to persuade him to go home and she would alway cook his favourite which was steak also their dog use to have steak for his tea. I do remember when he dressed up as a woman on a fancy dress party he looked so funny nobody recognised him. My 2 daughter's and myself use to call him daddy Micheal. We loved him dearly.
He has a very caring heart and will be greatly missed.
